The Mod Squad?...No, I do not want this. The board I moderate is an integral part of how I make a living. It has been nurtured by a great many of us at great expense of time and effort. Neither I, nor any other board member wants an uninvolved stranger to come by and make decisions with regard to our board or our posts. We take care of things ourselves, and if we need assistance, then you should be available to help. Keep it simple.

I could go on...because the principle you are espousing here smacks of Big Brother (and worse) to me and those with whom I have discussed it, but for now, I will simply tell you that it will prove to be counter-productive and that it is a really lousy idea.
