AXP Energy expands financial mining operations with BitFuFu partnership

AXP Energy Managing Director Dan Lanskey joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the successful completion of the company’s initial gas-to-power trial at the Pathfinder production hub in Colorado. Over a 14-day period, AXP delivered 1.5 MW/hour of electricity with 85% uptime, supporting efficient bitcoin mining operations. Following system optimizations, uptime has now exceeded 90%, marking a significant milestone for the project. AXP has secured the backing of NASDAQ-listed BitFuFu, Inc., through its joint venture partner, to advance the next phase of bitcoin mining expansion at the Pathfinder Field. The site, which has a steady supply of natural gas from AXP’s 24 wells, holds further production potential to support large-scale mining operations. Looking ahead, AXP is targeting the phased delivery of 25 MW of electricity by the end of 2025. The next immediate step is expanding the first site to 5 MW, with BitFuFu supplying additional ASIC miners and equipment. Polarean Imaging chief business officer on potential of Xenon MRI pharma trials

Polarean Imaging PLC chief business officer Alex Dusek talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest expansion into pharmaceutical-sponsored trials. This new initiative involves a multinational trial utilising Polarean’s Xenon MRI technology to assist drug development for lung diseases. Dusek explained that traditional lung function tests, such as spirometry, are crude and highly variable, making trials costly and time-consuming. Xenon MRI offers a more sensitive measurement, reducing variability and allowing drug companies to conduct trials with significantly fewer patients. "If you're designing a trial, let's say it's 25 to 50 patients with Xenon, that would take you 250 to 500 patients with the more traditional measures," he noted. Polarean is providing pharmaceutical companies with imaging biomarkers and harmonised data analysis, streamlining drug development. The company is also establishing a network of clinical sites equipped with Xenon MRI, creating an ecosystem that benefits sponsors, trial sites, and Polarean itself. HIVE Digital scales Paraguay operations with new country president and key acquisition

Novo Resources set for Balla Balla drilling
