Been to Shenzhen in China a couple times. It's a very modern city that you would think that your not in China being there. It was a cow pasture about 45 years ago when they started enticing companies from over the bay in very expensive Hong Kong to come to come to Shenzhen that was basically farm land and start building office and manufacturing facilities. In 20 years it became the new Hong Kong and now it is an awesome city and great place for uppity Chinese's family to start a family and new life. You have to have like a city passport or permission to even go to this city. They start every bus with army guys going thru the buss to check ID and permissions slips...They keep all the rift raft out of this city....
