Nextdoor's approach.
https://nextdoor.com/

Any member can report a post that violates Nextdoor's TOU for a number of specific reasons that are defined by the company. Those posts go into a queue to be voted on by Leads
with 3 options, remove, keep and maybe remove. Based on the votes the post either stays or is removed. Mind you Nextdoor admin has the final decision.

On a monthly basis Nextdoor reviews how Leads voted on posts and sends the Leads a report to insure the Leads are keeping in line with their TOU and a Lead can be removed if they are being too biased. Personal attacks will get zapped immediately and Nextdoor frowns on political posts attacking a candidate so one MUST tread gently. And when making a political post you'll get a popup that says this looks political and asks if you want to post it.

Every once in a while Nextdoor will have webinars for the Leads to go over the TOU. And yes I am a Lead and have been since they went live. LOL.
