What makes you so sure that the merger wasn’t in the works months before the PR went out. Once he felt comfortable with a completion date he decided it was time to release update. Not to far fetched considering He’s shown zero history of throwing out news just for the sake of it.

Outside of the Quarterly’s not being on time which is par for the course at this point & ticker. I don’t recall Melvin not meeting a communicated timeline when he providing more consistent communication the summer of 2022 thru early Q2 2023
