Amen to that! I so so often in conversation say to folks...and yes im talking about believers. And i talk about the way the world and the USA is...should NOT be a surprise...it is the way it is suppose to be...according to the Bible that i read...leading us to the Rapture...Tribulation...Millennium....End Times....and...it aint going to get any better so buckle up for a rough ride as i believe even here in the USA its going to get really bad even before the Rapture happens and then of course all hell is going to break loose the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation. And people look at me like im crazy!!?? Suppose to be like this??? Well yeah... one of many examples is 2 Timothy 4:3-4...(what you posted).... and another is 2 Timothy 3:1-5 ......But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
Now i would never predict when the rapture is going to happen...might be today...might be 500 years....but...think how things have changed...for the worse...here in the USA just in the last 50 years...think about another 10...20...50 years. I mean the fast rate of downward spiral we are on....when we get to the proverbial tipping point...look out below!

Now...i totally get.......If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land"

BUT....and im going to just go ahead and say it....pretty sure we done missed that boat....BUT....thats just my opinion...i know that GOD is GOD and He will do what is all part of His perfect plan and purpose for humanity when it is His time!!
