Oh, I remember people getting fired from the SEC for watching porn back in the day......
They had time to watch porn, but no time to do a simple review for some tickers.

The big banks promised to do better after 2008 but ended up rehypothecating debt even more after the bailouts. They attacked the markets even harder.
And I guess Jesus must have been at the wheel for the regulators and the SEC (our watchdog protector, retail's St Christopher).

Well, they all deserve to have their licenses taken away for driving while under the influence. But the regulators ARE the banks and market makers who sit on their BoD, both FINRA and the DTCC.

Fast forward to now............. it has never been worse in the history of mankind.

We know it and so do "they".
