As we know as we trod this earthly path...our flesh is going to cause us problems and heart ache and everything in between....because...on this side of reality speaking in the human sense of it....we are our own worst enemies. Then there is our family and friends and acquaintances...
co-workers...strangers...yes...burdens and trials can come from all kind of folks. Then throw in the world as we call it and there also much pain and suffering can come our way...and all of this is very real. But... as born-again believers we know very well the true reality that we have to be on guard of and our success in standing strong comes thru of course our relationship with Jesus...the power of the Holy Spirit and by staying ready for battle...so to speak... by being equiped with the full armor of God...because as we know...our true battle lies.......

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12

Because as we know.........

"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour".
1 Peter 5:8

I think of those two verses often and the reality of what we truly face in our daily walk with Jesus.

....satan and his demons are very good at what they do...and to quote an ole saying....if you give the devil and inch he will surely take a mile!

“Sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay.”
