Your post and Neo's sums up a good portion of my reasons for staying put and even adding on dips, with in reason. It helped a lot to put my mind into the mode that any money into a pink is "lost money." This allows me to hold until an eventual, definitive outcome.

Every time I lose patience with a stock and sold after I was convinced from DD it was going to make it, after I sold, off it went and it was "would a, could a, should a" time.
