As we know the moment that we are born again we are justified…God pronounces us not guilty through the blood of Jesus…then...the sanctification process starts and continues throughout our life. And in that God is molding us more and more through the power of the Holy Spirit living in us…to be more and more like His Son Jesus. Now of course we still have our free will…so it is up to us to embrace that sanctification…through surrender and obedience… and allow God to mold us into the likeness of Jesus. And as believers…we have the responsibility through reading the word…prayer…listening to sermons…and allowing God to make us into the men and women that He desires us to be. And thinking about this topic here…

It is only by the grace of God that any one of us are alive and breathing today. Which should serve as a reminder to all of us - including Donald - that the good Lord is not yet finished with us on this earth. Now, if we would daily seek His will in all of our thoughts, words, actions and deeds.

....and just to add to what you are saying…we tend often times to look at certain things…those things that are spectacular and really stand out…and give God the glory for the amazing thing that He did in preserving someone's life. Here with Trump…yes I believe that in that split second God put his hand on Trumps cheek and moved his head…or...through a unconscious thought...so to speak... given to Trump by God to move his head… And his life was spared. Just like when you see an automobile accident and the car is mangled like a soda can crushed and the person walks away and that stands out to us and we give God the glory.... or a farm tractor tips over and pins the person underneath for three or four hours before their found and they survive. A man cutting down a tree and it kicks back and crushes him and he lives. A tornado levels a house and a person inside survives. All of this of course is by God's grace and mercy and we should give Him praise…but we really need to think about it in the light of what you said here. We need to be given God the glory every second of every day because we know… He gives us our every heartbeat…every breath…the nourishment to sustain our body…our immune system to fight sickness and cancer and all sorts of stuff. When we think about how simple but yet so totally complex the body is… and it's only by God's grace and mercy that we live second by second by second each and every day...every second of our life is a miracle from God! So yes even though we need to give God the glory in those things that really stand out for peoples lives that are saved from tragedy…accidents ... sickness and disease and whatever… in that sanctification process of growing closer to God and becoming more and more like Jesus… We need to be learning that God is everything and we are nothing without Him…and should be given Him the praise and the glory for it all...all the time. Just wanted to add some extra thoughts to what we're talking about here… the simple fact that I can sit here and put thoughts together and use my fingers to type on the keyboard…Is an awesome blessing and miracle from God and I know it only takes one little hiccup within my body for things to drastically change very quickly. But by God's grace and mercy I continue to live my life until it is time for God to call me home… And that fact is a most awesome miracle as well that God wants to spend eternity in heaven with a wretch like me…but of course that is after i have been glorified...a topic for another day...wink.... Thank you JESUS!
