Every day when we wake in the morning we-- 1st--need to thank God for another day here on earth, 2nd-- we need to ask God to make us a better person today then we were yesterday, 3rd--at 81 yrs. old, with cancer and a bad heart-- every day I awake this side of the green I am so thankful. A real shame that in my younger days this never entered my "P" brain. I just said yesterday that I have no idea why God allowed me to be around this long, He is way more forgiving than me. I know God has a real purpose, I am just to thick to see it, so I struggle along each day and each day I am very aware how much I appreciate the fact that I am forgiven and so very thankful that somewhere around 30 t0 40 years ago the Holy Spirit lead me to my knees and God offered His Grace to me. I know exactly what Jesus meant when He said--"My peace I leave with you"---living each day in complete peace, knowing that my ticket to heaven is secure--is real peace
