Kasper Schmeichel previously played for Manchester City and is a major improvement over last season's Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart who retired after Celtic won last year's championship. His main job will be to prepare Viljami Sinisalo to take over as Celtic FC's new long-term goalkeeper in 2025. Viljami Sinisalo signed a 5-year deal with Celtic plc (LSE: CCP) or CLTFF this week and is currently in the U.S. with Celtic and will likely be playing for the first time on Saturday vs. DC United as well as on Tuesday vs. Manchester City and on the following Saturday vs. Chelsea.
