The convention in Milwaukee provides further evidence that the Republican party is morphing into something most long-time conservative Republicans neither recognize nor understand. Last night's speech buy Trump's pick for his VP running mate provided stark evidence of that. JD Vance sounded like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, as pointed out by many commentators, including conservative commentators and Trump's buddy, Joe Kernan on CNBC this am. He bashed corporations and business(s), bashed Wall Street, and seemed to assail capitalism and our free enterprise system. Perhaps he and DJT are trying to capture the dem vote, but a lot of Republicans are clearly alienated by this terrible pick of a running mate by DJT.
