Every Sports Private Equity Fund Wants Celtic

https://www.inflation.us/content/every-sports-private-equity-fund-wants-celtic

We have no idea how many meetings with private equity funds have been scheduled by Dermot Desmond for the upcoming days, but we are 100% convinced that every newly formed sports private equity fund desperately wants to own Celtic FC. Without spending $5 billion for an NFL, MLB, NBA, or EPL franchise, Celtic plc (LSE: CCP) or CLTFF is the highest quality asset they can target at a somewhat affordable price.

All we know is that the share price of Celtic plc (LSE: CCP) or CLTFF is meaningless. If a private equity fund tried to buy up Celtic shares in the open market, before accumulating even 5% of the company its share price would be trading 500%-1,000% higher.

A private equity fund acquiring the company would base it on a multiple of revenue. Recent acquisitions or even proposed acquisitions of sports franchises by U.S. billionaires or private equity funds have been for 10X revenue or higher.

If less than 1% of the 150,000 American fans that see Celtic play between July 20th and July 27th (against DC United, Manchester City, and Chelsea) invest only a small amount into the stock it could easily hit new all-time highs before the end of August. Many Celtic fans own their shares in the form of a CERTIFICATE hanging up on their wall to show their friends!

We told you when DroneShield (ASX: DRO) was between $0.20-$0.50 per share that it is worth $1-$2 per share. In recent days, we said investors buying it at $2+ per share were "chasing it higher" to prices it didn't deserve in the same way they chased Apple and Nvidia higher to overvalued prices that won't last for long and will never be seen again. DRO at $2.72 per share was likely its peak, but it was a nice gain of 1,260% from NIA's suggestion price of $0.20 per share. While DRO was rising we were working non-stop researching companies looking for our next big winner: and we discovered Celtic!
