Alkane hits high-grade gold at Tomingley

Alkane Resources Ltd managing director Nic Earner talked with Proactive about recent high-grade gold intercepts and ongoing resource expansion at the Tomingley gold operations in New South Wales. Earner detailed strong results from underground drilling at both the Caloma and Roswell zones, with intercepts showing multiple grams per tonne over substantial widths. “We’ve had some very, very high-grade hits… tens of metres at plus ten grams in Roswell,” he noted, highlighting the significant contribution these results will make to near-term reserve updates and future production planning. The company is confident these results will support mine life extensions well into the 2030s. Reserve and resource updates, including for Caloma One and Caloma Two, are expected in the August–September period, following analysis of the June 30 data. Earner also touched on Alkane’s recent financial performance, stating: “It’s been a great quarter… we had a great cash build,” helped by strong production and a high Australian-dollar gold price. She pointed out that leading European defense firms—including Rheinmetall, BAE Systems, Thales, Dassault, and Leonardo SPA—stand to benefit significantly from this expansion. Canada and Portugal, for instance, are re-evaluating orders for U.S.-made F-35 fighter jets in favor of alternative options, such as aircraft from Dassault Aviation. ATOME signs milestone EPC deal with Casale for Villeta project

ATOME PLC (AIM:ATOM) CEO Olivier Mussat talked with Proactive about a landmark milestone for the company’s Villeta green fertiliser project in Paraguay. The company has signed its first definitive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement with Swiss firm Casale S.A. Mussat explained that this agreement marks the world’s first large-scale green hydrogen fertiliser project to reach the EPC stage, underlining its global relevance. “It’s significant for us as a company because we’ve announced that we had been working on the front-end engineering and design for more than two years now,” Mussat said, noting the long-term collaboration with Casale. He highlighted Casale’s industry-leading expertise, describing the firm as the oldest ammonia licensor globally, with the ability to deliver complex, full-chain fertiliser projects. According to Mussat, the partnership serves as a strategic blueprint for Casale’s future growth.
