Again you are proving to not know what he is talking about. The 10-Q is not audited but the audit team still would perform a deep inquiry with management, its analytical procedures, and tie-out the financial statements to the company's internal financial statements. There is no substantive testing or internal control testing performed during a review for quarterly financial statements but the auditor in this case is being extra careful in its Representation Letter to SHs and the SEC as to its opinion and the info query stack that supports its opinion.
