It’s a great idea, the only minor issue being that phantom stock type plans require the company to pay cash to its employees in lieu of shares or options, which in turn requires the company to actually have cash.

Which Respire doesn’t have.

It does have lots of shares though, having increased its shares outstanding approximately threefold in the past fourteen months.
