We also know the vote means that many Iranians are fed up with the anti-West attitude of those same hard-line clerics. We don't expect Pezeshkian to be able to quickly bring radical change, who could possibly expect that of him. Still it's damn good to see him gain the presidency rather than having just another hard-liner there.

Just as it would be super-good to have another Biden presidency in America rather than another term for a lying, felon, who in his first term proved beyond any doubt that he did not care nearly as much about ordinary American workers as Biden has proven he does.
