There is no chips falling anywhere and MMs are not gods as you're making them out to be. Quit trying to build mysterious cloud around as if we need to be trembling. Volume moves sp a b d they eventually lose control. Do they engage in manipulation? Sure but only when timings/conditions suit their purpose. Stocks in the market run when they must on conditions directly opposed to making manipulation possible. Years back, did you watch what happened to SRPT and ICPT as well other securities recently? MMs were of no consequence in the runs and the stocks did what they must do. The rest is history today. MMs have their jobs and it is important but they're no mysterious beings. They make money, they lose money as well.
