To be independent, the auditor must be intellectually honest; to be recognized as independent, he must be free from any obligation to or interest in the client, its management, or its owners.

I would believe simply by getting paid for past services they then become independent. This could happen overnight in reality. While being owed money they are not independent. They have a vested interest with unpaid funds. This eliminates the stock option scenario imho. That would constitute interest in the company.

You can't tell me there aren't folks ready to pay for this audit. I truly believe there are other factors at work. Maybe folks placing money with the company are buying shares and building positions. Will Clodfelter could easily pay for a vested interest beyond what he already has.

One of SEVERAL TOP PRIORITIES! Thats a new one to me. I have emailed him as well. Its always been the financials were THE top priority.

I truly believe a buyout/funding/partnership of some sort is underway. It has been quiet and normally during these type of activites company's will go silent.
