Hillary Clinton Has a New Climate Change Message for Kids

The failed presidential candidate is using her global foundation to scare more kids about climate change.

Former first lady, Secretary of State, and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is back in the headlines for her support of more climate change messaging in children’s films, TV shows, and cartoons. Through the Clinton Global Initiative’s “Too Small to Fail” program, Clinton is helping fund writers, directors, and media makers to put more climate change content into their kids’ shows.

Making Young People More Alarmed About Climate Change

According to Clinton, children’s “mental and physical health” is being negatively impacted by climate change, which is why it’s necessary to educate children early on about the ecological disaster taking place. Here’s the truth: First and foremost, anxiety and alarmism about climate change is negatively impacting children’s mental health. Psychologists even have a term for it: “eco-anxiety” or “climate grief.” As Clinton explains, her team was motivated by the question:

“How do we reach as many people as possible to let them know they literally can build brain cells by reading, talking and singing to babies and toddlers?”

Young people are already very worried about the environment and climate change. A 2021 survey found that 60% of people aged 16 to 25 worldwide are “highly” worried about climate change already, 45% so much that they have trouble sleeping or eating properly. Now Clinton wants to make them more worried at a younger age, with a special event coming up to launch her initiative into high gear.

Clinton Is Back on Her High Horse

Ever since her humiliating 2016 defeat to Donald Trump, Clinton has refused to gracefully step out of the spotlight. Her 2017 book, What Happened, was about her loss and contained its own answer on the cover, since it had her name as the author. Along with Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, the European Union, the United Nations and many other powerful globalist individuals and organizations, Clinton is focused on climate change and on reducing humanity’s “carbon footprint.”

Her strong support of abortion and women prioritizing their careers over parenthood is part of a general dismissiveness of the societal importance of families. Clinton wants to target those who do have youngsters with intense messaging about climate change, ecological disaster, and a general alarm about overpopulation, resource consumption, and economic growth.

Here’s the thing: Even if Clinton and her cronies were entirely scientifically correct about man-made climate change and the evils of red meat, gas vehicles, and carbon, there’s no reason to trust them with implementing the solution. The fact is that “green socialism” is a very real and dangerous possibility for the future if the wrong people are put in charge, no matter the pretext or professed good intentions.

Clinton’s Past Policies on Climate Change

Clinton spoke extensively about climate change during her 2016 run for the Oval Office, emphasizing her plan to create green jobs. In my own coverage of Clinton’s run, I reported the following during one of her stops in the New Hampshire primary:

“According to Clinton, Republicans are also marginalizing half their own voters and ‘endangering the lives of future generations’ with their skepticism about man made climate change. Instead by positing to turn America into a ‘clean energy superpower’ Clinton claimed she would create ‘millions of jobs’ and put the US at the forefront of global energy. Indeed, Clinton said that by the end of her ‘second term’ she hopes to have enough clean energy to power every home in the United States.”

In other words, Clinton is willing to use big government to push climate change policies and clean energy even if it goes against the free market and puts millions of jobs at risk. After all, where are Joe Biden’s promised millions of green jobs?



Clinton is also deeply involved in activism relating to the global insurance industry. As Elizabeth Piper and Valerie Volcovici reported for Reuters in 2023, “Clinton earlier this year joined the Arsht-Rock Foundation Resilience Center as a global ambassador on heat, health and gender. The center has pioneered new forms of so-called parametric insurance that offer payments once disasters hit a pre-set extreme.”

This is a very slippery slope, as it creates entire new areas of the insurance industry that will be forced to consider climate change itself as a disaster like a hurricane or a tsunami. This will accelerate the exact climate crisis that Clinton and friends claim to be fighting against. There’s no doubt the environment matters and should be a priority, but there are strong reasons to protect liberty from the busybodies and bureaucrats who want to legislate America and the world into serfdom.
