Used to use beef always, now pork is cheaper so have tried it, seems just as good. I've never tried mixing the two. It would mean defrosting two lots at once, or i guess buy both and mix before freezing would work. Don't see it as being worth the hassle but will try for fun. I have tried it with chopped carrot, didn't like as much. Celery would be same, taking away from the real tomato/meat taste i love. i use all the other ingredients there but one, tomato paste, not puree. Why use both i don't know. I like adding mushrooms. Even beans too, to have it a bit like chili con carne spaghetti. Always mix the sauce and the spaghetti, last night put the parmesan on, then mixed it all up. Yum with a burned taste. It's been better. lol

I must get out of the habit of spelling it with the French flair ..
