An openly gay rabbi writes in today's NY Times (in part):

"In January I joined a pro-Palestinian protest in New York City’s Union Square, where about a dozen protesters, clad in rainbow flags, shifted their chants from blaming Israel to “Kill the Jews.” Some in the crowd shrugged, some objected, but it took time before the chant changed. "

I'm sure they meant just pro-Zionist Jews, you would get special dispensation, no doubt..

You have the ability to distinguish anti-Zionism from anti-semitism, but most people aren't as smart and analytically deft as you are. Your unwillingness to acknowledge this abets this situation.
