jarsch501, First let me compliment you on the post. You gave me a reality check and perspective that the media does not report on.

As for Ms. Lynch, she was made to be a poster person by the media. She is quite young and I'm sure was never prepared for all the attention.

My personal view (call me old fashioned) is that we should not put women in harm's way in combat.

Finally there are many heroes/victims of war that will never be the same again. Sad that this world has not learned to resolve our differences peacefully.

For those who understand no explanation is needed, ...For those who don't none will.
