A final point, as if it wasn't obvious: Ask yourself what the meaning of "Not recommended" is. A clue: If something is recommended it is not required.

The bottom line is that I don't care, and that it is a particular waste of time at this point. [eos]

FWIW - i generally agree, since, as I've noted multiple times, unless the sham has a strong effect on breaking blind and thus causing very misleading efficacy… its not within FDA’s mandate to *force* a no sham policy. And… the previous OCUL management were pretty naive about all of this.
