kona, i'm thinking they could be hitting the switch to all digital/ direct routing like peer to peer networking and move away from the session border controller. see msft deprecating their last two telecom acquisitions.
might it be related to july 1-4 time frame? as in freedom of the previous tyranny of the sbc? session border controller?

virtual lans become the go to....your personal 8x8 operator connect? or how you connect the vritual servers/virtual services desired.

8x8 has nat firewall traversal ip....hopefully, 8 and v ip have done some partnering as it would make their ascension easier and quicker.

yesterday after close, 8 announced the coo of rapid7 joining their board of directors. their chairman is an expert in parallel operations and blockchain interactions.

they also have ipbx(virtual private branch exchange which integrated with v ip and idea of libraries and data flows would be germane.
