Do you make poor people pay higher utility bills because you decommission nuclear power plants? Push EV for wealthy people--but no low cost EV for the middle class? Is it worth regulating railroads to replace locomotives for a minimal (read--.00001%) reduction in global carbon?

That is ridiculous. Show me where they have decommissioned a nuclear power plant and I'll show you how it just wasn't cost effective for the consumer anymore, effectively making electricity cheaper for everyone. Also, decommissioning a power plant is a process that takes up to 30 years to accomplish so these decisions are not made lightly or were started a long time ago.

low cost EV you say? Show me an internal combustion powered car these days that isn't in the same price range with these vehicles. I know your maga monster trucks are all free and don't cost 70 grand right?

and your bullshit about locomotives is just what is, bullshit.. There have been standards in place since the 70's on emissions. I have a 24 year old truck that I have to take in and get tested this month before I'm able to reregister my plates. It's going to pass but if it doesn't, I'll make the changes necessary to make it so... Over the road trucks and everything else are held to the same standard and again, it has been since the 70's. Train locomotives should be no different.

You gotta start trying harder and quit watching these climate deniers on you tube videos. Inform yourself for a change. You're as bad as the other idiot who relies on copilot for his informed responses.
