God is sooooo good.....finally found our way back home, what beautiful country God made for humankind to lost in, makes Romans 1 come to life, how can I see it and not know God...Now the trip was not all peaches and cream, went to Seattle for my grand-daughters college graduation, which we never got to, Seems I got sick, no idea what bug I got, but now weeks later still lingering on & on-------Food for thought----Jesus gave us the parable of the mustard seed (Matthew 13:31--17:20), while I was gone I read a morning devotion on this and now weeks later just cannot shake the thought...A mustard seed, just a tinnie, tiny, little bitty thing, around 1/32 of an inch maybe the size of a saw-dust chip or smaller.....but think on it, when planted it can grow large enough for birds to come along and nest in, our faith that small can say to a mountain move over here.....there is way more to this parable than I ever knew was there---now the part from Matt. 17 is not from the original parable but to do with our faith----Matt. 13---is the original parble, concerning the Kingdom of God-----but bear with me, please----"IF only I had more faith"---ever been there? I can't do this or that, so sorry, but if I just had a little more faith ! My amount of faith, truly, is connected with my basic trust....something there to think on.----"IF" I or you worry about the amount f faith we have or need we miss out on all our good deeds or miss out on what God wants us to do-----we totally miss out on our "mustard size faith".----now take a moment and think, if I or you or other professing Christians plant that little seed of faith, if I or you put it to work, then we 1st hand understand Scripture that says "to him who has is given more", If I or you put our tiny little bit of faith to work we get more and stronger faith, our faith grows to tree size faith, our beliefs grow steadfast, we know/learn deep in ourselves the presence of God in our lives, then we have this desire to share the truth with others.....We plant a seed, another waters it, and God makes it grow
I have only scratched the surface on where my little mind ran to on this subject----Mustard Seeds and My Faith....I encourage you to read it, think on it, pray on it and then learn how to apply it in your daily life----trust me--God wants you to experience this, I been reading my Bible since 1990 and just picked up on this----maybe my thickness upstairs could save you 30+ yrs.
GOD BLESS. & have a fruitful day
