That was an excellent video.......thanks for recommending it !
After the first few minutes I remembered I had seen it before. Hell I might have even watched it live back in 1980.
Is Doug Casey still alive? I thought he came across a little snobbish and his young appearance meant the audience didn't appear to take him too seriously but everything he talked about was pretty much spot on in my opinion .
Doug's problem is he was about 50 years before his time. Everything he talked about in 1980 is being rehashed today by everyone. He even mentioned towards the end of the video that he believes silver will surpass gold .............50 years down the road, which would take us to 2030.
He predicted the stock market going to 3000 which everyone thought was crazy back then. I think he predicted gold going to 3000 something.......hasn't happened yet but could.
Donahue was his normal condescending self but I managed to get through the whole video.
