me:why did sam suggest 8 knew msft's telecom ip was going to have problems?

were they trying to work around some patents of 8 and/or other? i wonder if it could be the framework which allows api's to define their operation within the framework of the controller?

they were trying to avoid using 744 family? the stop gap till patent ran out didn't work.
ai is both forcing their hand and also creating an environment paying up for it is more than worth it?
