That sounds interesting too.. I was looking to switch for about the last 10 years but upfront costs were always scary to me.. This company came along, has no upfront costs or financing and do their own upkeep.. They even pledge to reimburse me if my output lags and I suddenly get a bill. LOL I even got a 500 dollar gift card which in theory would pay my bill to them for the first 10 months.

I priced around and I might have been able to score the panels for a couple grand cheaper in the long term but for them to agree into a 25 year term of free maintenance with no money down sealed the deal for me. They pulled all the permits and did all the legwork with the electric company.. The only catch was that they receive all the tax subsidies currently provided which again, would have just made my tax filing more complicated anyway. It was just a way to make my life easier for the long haul.

Always have the option to pay the full contract off if I want to but I would forfeit the maintenance agreement and if anything went south I'd be left holding the bag..
