Wish I got college tuition for free to a university that I could not afford with all the great amenities. Wish I did not have to work during college. But, now generous taxpayers like yourself can pay.
You're dishonestly misstating what Biden's doing. The people who're having their student loans cancelled have already paid tons of money on those loans. But with interest, they still owe, even in their 40s and 50s.
Hey, want a free ride? Work for it. I went to Wellesley. If you were accepted and your parents couldn't afford tuition and board, you'd be offered financial aid. Not a loan. Same was true for the Ivies and the other Seven Sisters. Don't know if it's still true today. But if you show promise, you're likely to get at least some kind of aid. Free.
