June 21st is 9 trading days away from expiring
June 24th is the T1 day of share delivery
June 28th is the T3,day for FTD options delivery from 21 June

WTF?? Options trades settle on T+1. As they have for a long time, along with futures. And if you've missed it, equities also settle on T+1 now.

Kitty owns June 21 calls with a 20 strike. That means they expire on June 21. So either he sells them before expiry, or he exercises them upon expiry. Or, if things go south, they expire worthless.
