I don't believe Chad and his desires were a hoax, at least I hope they weren't for everyone's sake, but way too much effort and "assumption" went into the "direction" that everyone thought this company would go. When people are desperate, they try to bridge gaps with hopeful ideas to ease their own minds and try to justify their own stock play. Chad is relatively unproven, his past ventures are spotty at best, blah blah blah... the bottom line is why would he have needed an unprofitable internet jewelry "store's " (that invested heavily into make believe land with high-end virtual [meaning not real and figments of imagination] jewelry) name? What was it about wanting to garner those investors and that name and those followers to completely abandon that business model as a shell company for future endeavors? Why wouldn't he have just created an independent LLC and started from there? SFLMaven was very unprofitable... but that didn't stop Joe Ladin from earning his money through dilution and "business expenses." I think Chad took a play out of Ladin's (and lots of other stinky pinky owners) playbook and used sucker's money for his own benefit. There's always a sucker at every poker table...if you can't identify them then you are probably him/her!
