This is why FACTS and COST BASIS matter; only a dweeb would say they “made” $330K on this holding, ignoring the $211K cost, but this is only a paper gain at that time, not a realized gain, and price only went down from there which means the realized gain was less, and it might still be held today for a paper loss………..
