Sounds like E trade (subsiduary of Morgan Stanley) doesn't want to be on hook or tied to MM who is responsible for finding the shares for the exercised LEAP call options.....
and now we have the CAT system that will track the call options that will be exercised.....and this transaction will be tracked by broker ID and customer ID......
The consequences:
The broker can be held liable for the actions of the MM on behalf of their customer on how the shares are sourced....plus you have the FTD's......
The games that Big Money are playing have chance to be exposed and an actual investigation and even prosecution......hmmmmmmm
