The first sophisticated diver operated magnetometer was designed by Burt Webber utilizing the Geometrics, Inc. G-882 Cesium mag. so, saying this is nothing new.
You are aware that the magnetometer only detects ferro-magnetic targets? Actually, the magnetometer measures the total intensity of the earths magnetic field. Anything of a localized ferro-magnetic source deviates the field and thus detected. So why the big deal for SFRX? I was of the opinion they were solely interested in the SeaSearcher gold and silver targets? You may or may not realize that the diver operated magnetometer can be used as a counter-check, meaning if the SeaSearcher indicated the position for a ferrous target but when applying the magnetometer there is no indication, then obviously the target is indeed non-ferrous. Sorry, but I just can't give these amateurs credit to assume they know that.

I really don't understand all the fluff and puff going on. Simply pin-point and dig one of the SeaSearcher gold or silver targets and prove the point. Rather hard to do if there's no treasure there in the first place. So thus far hundreds of items found (like what items?) but none being gold or silver. Right?
