The pilot-scale LIFP has been ~OUTT-of-service for over 8 months due to severe damage that resulted in its near-total destruction. The LIFP Projekt, LLC applied to the US Dept of Commerce and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service for a Federal guaranteed loan of $25,000 needed to repair and refurbish the pilot-scale LIFP.
To our great surprise, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act has provided the LIFP Projekt, LLC with a grant of $2.9 billion Dollars to move directly to a production-scale LIFP. The first tranche of this grant (for which we didn't apply) is expected to be disbursed in 2H2024 in the amount of $381,000,000 made payable to "Cash". We will provide ongoing updates thereafter from the new LIFP Projekt headquarters in Aspen, Colorado and Zug, Switzerland.
