INFORMATION

The documentary film ‘Dust to Dust’, which was released in Japan in March and goes behind the scenes with Yuima Nakazato of couture brand YUIMA NAKAZATO, has been awarded the Human / Nature Award at the Tribeca Festival in New York.

Unlike other categories at the film festival, which present awards to multiple films, the Human / Nature award recognises only one film.

The film includes footage of Spiber’s Brewed Protein™ fiber being used as a key part of YUIMA NAKAZATO’s creations footage shot at Spiber’s Tsuruoka headquarters, and an interview with our representative, Kazuhide Sekiyama.

– ABOUT THE AWARD –

The Human / Nature Prize is awarded to one project across the entire Festival program which best uses storytelling and character development to highlight our interdependence with the natural world.
