WTM - Interesting. Toyota was also a major sponsor of the Tokyo Olympics, touted as the " Hydrogen Olympics" as even the flame was hydrogen fueled.

FUNNY Though that Hydrogen was never mentioned in any telecast or commercial, nor was there any signage with the word Hydrogen.

Toyota's ad agency funded several focus groups for the impact of their Mirai car commercials and every group had a negative reaction to the word hydrogen, with comments like : Explosive. Dangerous. H-Bomb. Hindenburg .

As a result, Hydrogen was never mentioned at the "Hydrogen Olympics".
