If I were to make a conservative statement about when something in the future will happen... this is just how I would do it: I might say The end of June is conservative. (I don't want anyone to think it could be earlier. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up or mislead them.)

OR, The end of June is conservative. (I'm giving myself a long time to get it done but it could be sooner...)

LMAO whatever actually happens in the future is what I meant when I said that if anyone asks me later....

Why? Cuz if I was as a PR guy with a lawyer boss I might know how to carefully use words. Nothing wrong with that, happens all the time every day.
