I always thought it was a good plan to not have a lit candle when going to sleep when there are pets in the house like cats and dogs maybe bunnies that can jump or climb.

I think I read that more fires with candles started by pets when left unattended.

I'm with newmedman, I don't like the idea of a lit candle at bedtime.
