This doesn't replace chemo it replaces surgery and external beam radiation to clear margins. Chemo is to kill the cancer cells that have left the local tumor and traveled to other parts of the body. But this is important because for a solid tumor you always remove the tumor and then maybe do chemo (depending on risk). With surgery to clear margins you have to remove tissue. This approach lets a Dr. carefully place the gel where the tissue is and is better able to avoid nerves and such. Hence their inclusion of the word 'precision'. It is also less susceptible to infection because exposure is limited to a syringe and there is not an open wound to suture up.

It is a billion plus market once it is approved for all solid tumors.
