Hweb- AAOI
Well actually on the CC, they said they met or exceeded their data center guidance q over q, but it's mainly the cable division that's under performing. Another reason they didn't do better was that MIcrosoft business was slower to ramp up than expected, but that shouldn't be the case by Q3. They said data center revenues will be the huge % of total revenues for the next couple years, and that they expect to see higher revenues quarter over quarter all the way to the end of 2025, mainly because of the ramp up with 800G that they expect to start in Q3. Hweb, all I can tell you is, AI supply to data centers will be one of the hottest areas to be in for another couple years, and at $10, I feel it's worth a shot. I mean AAOI goes up super quick when things are perceived to be going well with them. I agree with you that there could be a trust issue at this point, but I listened to the CC, and guess I'm feeling like it's worth a shot here, with $600M revenue estimates for 2025 from the CEO himself. By the way, I remember in 2017, and AAOI went from $20 to $100 in a few months back then, and generally their guidanc was met. AAOI is already one of my largest dollar gainers of all time, as I made over 100% in the last six months, and over 300% in 2017.
