Update Friday 5:29 p.m. ET: The second round of the Wells Fargo Championship is suspended due to a dangerous weather situation.

Mark Dusbabek, the PGA TOUR’s Senior Director Lead TV Rules & Video Analyst, said on Golf Channel that play was suspended because of a lightning strike within 10 miles of the course.

“We do expect it to be a quick storm and for it to get through us really quickly,” Dusbabek said.
