I tried the Espresso (Cafe Domino)and it's REALLY good, has a great (and somewhat familiar) flavor profile. After some digging around I find out, the "new CEO" in the press release is who bought Cafe Domino out of bankruptcy a couple years ago, and he simply took over operations and turned the business profitable in no time. I wondered "how did he do it so quick"? Well, turns out their "family" is who STARTED and ran Cafe Bustelo for like 100 years! 🤯WTF? Then sold it to Smuckers in 2011 for a SHIPLOAD of $$$$$! This got me thinking.... REPEAT? Same taste🤔 Same roasting techniques? same bean suppliers? same _________, and a little less expensive! Hmmmmmm. Just sayin'.
