the hearing just ended. i listen to most of it and the cat system was never brought up. it was more about the sec enforcement overreach and history, crypto and climate change, inconsistent fines and the need for established rules. i think it was a good hearing, the sec is entitled to enforce rules but needs to handoff more to federal courts instead if the sec internal trials, they should be entitled to crypto regulation and fines are inconsistent (they thoguht the sec fines were too high???) on average. it seem that they were slapping the hands of the sec for bullying small companies but never mentioned how lax they are on the real crooks.

the cat sytem is sound and nothing is stopping it.
