Honestly. Profit means nothing. Gross revenues is all that matters. Higher the gross revenue is more liquid cash for growth and expansion. Profits only mean Uncle Sam get his cut. They ideally wanna spend all profits on reinvesting and break even in year end. Just my opinion of running my own business. Why give to govt so they can irresponsibly spend. May as well upgrade equipments and write off on taxes is the way I do things. But I’m a dumb clam farmer. So what do I know 😂
