I bank at BMO and they told me only US based stocks, but no penny stocks/OTC

BMO doesn’t allow the buying of DSCR anymore. They put a halt on it at the end of 2020. If you had purchased prior to when they put the halt at the end of 2020 you were able to sell though just had to call in for approval (which they granted)
