This paragraph outlines how the "Defendant," Trump, allegedly directed "Lawyer A," Cohen, to delay the payment to "Woman 2," Daniels, until after the 2016 election so that "they could avoid paying altogether, because at that point it would not matter if the story became public."

However, "with pressure mounting and the election approaching," Trump allegedly directed Cohen to proceed with the payment, according to the Statement of Facts.”
